With the publication of press releases n ° 1 and n ° 2, the regional section of the Italian Football Federation has announced the programming of the season that is going to begin, both for amateurs and for the youth sector.

The first official matches will start with the dispute of the first round of the various Cups. It opens on Sunday 28 August with the Italian Cup of Excellence, the following Sunday, 4 September, it will be the turn of the Promotion and First Category Cups, while for the Second and Third category the starting date is set for Sunday 11 September.

The championships of Excellence, Promotion and First category will start on Sunday 11 September while the Second and Third categories will take to the field for the first of championships on Sunday 25 September.

As for the youth sector, the regional championships, including juniors, will start on the weekend of 17-18 September while the provincial championships, also here with the juniors, will start the following weekend.

The calendars relating to the Cups and championships of Excellence, Promotion, First and Second category will be published on Tuesday 2 August while the date scheduled for the publication of the one relating to the Third category and the provincial juniors is set for Monday 19 September. Likewise, as regards the youth sector, the publication of the calendars relating to the regional championships will take place on Tuesday 2 August while for the provincial ones the date set is that of Monday 19 September.

Meanwhile, since yesterday, until 13 July, team registrations for the various championships have been open. Only afterwards, on the basis of the registrations, will the start of any repechage for the completion of the workforce. And it is precisely on the repechage that Colleretto relies, who through the playoffs has touched the promotion, but who on the other hand, for this very reason, is placed in a privileged position to occupy one of the two already safe free places. The first left by Chisola, landed in Serie D through the national playoffs with consequent repechage of a Promotion team, the other free place is the result of the merger between Volpiano and La Pianese with the nascent team that will play the championship of Excellence. Therefore, the chances that Massimo Maggio’s gialloblù will go up in Promotion to keep company with Ivrea, Quincinetto Tavagnasco, Rivarolese and the newly promoted Vallorco are noteworthy.
