Neuer mistake against Real – “He is the unluckiest of all”

I don’t know why they made that decision.” Bayern felt comfortable with the substitution of Kim and the switch to a three-man chain. “They had it in their hands and let it go,” complained Hargreaves. But he didn’t yet know Tuchel’s motives.

FC Bayern is now denied the final jackpot; only Borussia Dortmund can win it against Real Madrid in the Champions League final. The title winner on June 1st at London’s Wembley Stadium will receive a bonus of 20 million euros from the European Football Union Uefa. The losing finalist receives 15.5 million euros. Bayern are still making big money as semi-finalists in this premier class season.
“That was a blatantly wrong decision by the referees”
At FC Bayern Munich, there was great anger towards the referees immediately after the dramatic semi-final exit in the Champions League at Real Madrid. “It really shouldn’t be like that,” says WELT reporter Paul Klinzing.
