The night in Ibiza never ends. When the first light of dawn illuminates the coast of Es Cubells, some guests have not yet left Villa Margherita. Marco Borriello’s 40th birthday party will be remembered for a long time for its cheerfulness, light-heartedness, the desire to have fun. Marco, as always attentive to every detail, personally took care of all the details.

He cared more for his friends, who had so much insisted that he celebrate his birthday in a big way, than for himself. The “Borriellone’s party” is nothing new, it has long been one of the opening events of the Ibiza summer. This time there was also an invitation card that circulated on whatsapp, but in the past it was mainly word of mouth that brought people to Villa Margherita. “My house is open”, Borriello likes to repeat. And also Saturday night the party was beautiful, full of music, colors, good food, beautiful women and some special effects. Like the fire artists, who impressed the guests in the middle of the night. There were some players of the present or of the past: Andrea Pirlo, Marco Verratti, Alessandro Matri, Simone Barone.

Who knows if Verratti will have told something to Angel Di Maria. Fideo is also in Ibiza, he arrived on Saturday from Rosario and it is on this island that he will probably make the decision about his future. To evaluate the Juve proposal, Di Maria surrounded himself with “Italians”. Not far from the villa of Borriello, there is the one rented for the holidays by a quartet of Argentines who are not too bad with the ball at their feet: in addition to Fideo, there are Leandro Paredes, Giovanni Lo Celso and, in two days, also Javier Pastore. Everyone has played or plays in the PSG and it is no coincidence that Verratti also spends a lot of time with them. Yesterday was the thirtieth birthday of Camila Galante, Paredes’ wife, and also for this reason the Di Maria family moved from Argentina to the Balearics. In the summer in which he moved from breaking latest news to PSG, Verratti was very close to Juve and even the name of Paredes (formerly of Empoli and Rome) was often associated with the Bianconeri, as had happened to Pastore when he was Palermo. In short, Di Maria could close the transfer that none of them managed to realize.

Yesterday Di Maria and his friends spent the day on the beach in Cala Jondal: light lunch, a few toasts, sun, sea and relaxation in one of the most exclusive areas of the island. The villa they rented has a large swimming pool and overlooks the sea, but in the first few days of the holiday, Fideo preferred to take a few strolls. Last night the Lady Paredes party took place at Lio, one of the best known clubs in Ibiza, and it went on until late at night. It was not yet the time to think about Juve, but from today every moment is good to decide.
