After several seasons with the Treviso-based Rudy Project, in 2022 the biker from Feltre will compete with Trinx Factory Team, the Lombard team coordinated by former cyclocross blue Luca Bramati.

«Bramati had already contacted me in 2020, but I told him no. Last summer, he came back and this struck me a lot: I thought about it, we talked about it and in the end I decided to accept, thus changing the team after four years », says Anzù’s girlfriend.

Four important years have been spent with Team Rudy Project, four years in which important results have arrived, among which the Italian Under 23 cross country title in 2019 (in Lamonsano), the victory in the Under 23 World Cup in Nove Mesto in 2020 and the summons to the 2018 and 2020 World Cups in Leogang and Lenzerheide, where he honorably defended the colors of the Italian national team.

Without forgetting the second place, always among the Under 23s, in the 2020 Italian cross country championship.

«I would like to thank the Rudy Project Team for these four years spent together. We have faced many trips, competitions, joys and disappointments and I will always carry this period together in my heart. But now the time has come to turn the page, ”says Giorgia again, who at the Trinx Factory Team will find top-level athletes at an international level, namely Eva Lechner and Gioele Bertolini.

«Being part of a professionally organized team and riding alongside athletes of this level will be an important opportunity for growth. I will be able to learn a lot. I’m highly motivated, I want to go back to high levels ».

2020 was a year of great results while 2021 was rather disappointing.

«Characterized by ups and downs and few important results», Giorgia explains. «Have the last few races in Greece given me morale and am I preparing with great determination for next season? Aims? I want to prepare myself as best I can, give my all and have consistent results ».
