Sandra, how was this season?
“Fifth out of ten is not bad. We could have done more, of course, but we are a young team with several new entries from all over the province. We have off-site students and workers, all with their own difficulties ».

You are determined not to give up. It is a good sign, given that you are the only team from Belluno.
“It hurts to think about it. I have been playing football for 15 years and have been at Keralpen since I was 12. I have participated in two rallies in the national team and played in regional tournaments with the Veneto shirt, in my career I have been contacted several times by other teams, but I have not never accepted because she was confident of the pink football movement of Belluno. I have seen firsthand our province drying up of teams. We are the only ones left, and if we don’t invest in Keralpen Belluno, our company will also die. Surely there is no “turnover” of players, there are no longer many girls and boys playing football and this is reflected in the years to come. It is not a problem only in our province but also in other regions, just think of how Friuli was teeming with teams and talents, while now they are in difficulty so much that the last two remaining teams have entered our group. Thinking that in a few years there may be no more teams in the province breaks my heart, so we need to invest in the last ones left before they disappear ».
We have witnessed the numerous victories of the national team. In your opinion, has this had positive consequences for the consideration of women’s football in Italy?
«Yes, in recent years I have seen a step forward in the enhancement of Italian women’s football. We are not yet at the level of our male colleagues, but we are witnessing several changes compared to the past. I think Serie A is finally having the right space. We are not even yet at the level of other nations where this sport is valued more, but it must be said that the women’s football movement in Italy has always struggled to take off because the tendency to consider football as the only male sport is still too ingrained. I hope that in the next few years these prejudices and stereotypes will disappear and we will finally arrive at equality between men and women “. –
