On December 18, after two years of upgrading and renovation, the brand-new Zhejiang Huanglong Sports Center was unveiled. To prepare for the Asian Games, the Huanglong Sports Center will implement a comprehensive upgrade and renovation of the venues from December 2019, combined with the major improvement of public stadiums services, re-plan the regional environment and overall business format, and comprehensively improve the comprehensive strength of software and hardware and the quality of sports public services . During the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, the stadium, gymnasium, and swimming diving hall of Huanglong Sports Center will respectively undertake the tasks of football, gymnastics (competitive gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline) and water polo in 3 categories and 5 competitions and Asian Paralympic track and field competitions.
