Molecular tests on players and staff reveal that the coronavirus has disappeared: after the last test the rally will be rescheduled

CONEGLIANO. Negatives. All the molecular swabs carried out on Tuesday by players and staff of Imoco Volley Conegliano tested negative for the coronavirus.

After the Covid positive case among the players that emerged just before the meeting in Rua di Feletto, yesterday the whole team group was again subjected to a molecular swab.

There is no concern for the health of the players and the staff, since the player who tested positive has always been asymptomatic and all have already completed the vaccination cycle; but the result of the tampon was decisive for organizing the training for the next few days.

Only a logistical “trouble”, after all. The athletic trainer Marco Da Lozzo immediately rolled up his sleeves, organizing a session via zoom right from the start and individual programs to be carried out in home isolation.

There is therefore optimism, after three days of training at home, for the resumption of activity with the first workouts in the gym. Tomorrow day of rest already scheduled by the calendar, but in the morning another round of pads for the Team Group and, if today’s results are confirmed, from Friday it will resume with the original training program and the press meeting with athletes and staff at 6 pm after training in Rua di Feletto. Tomorrow afternoon, after the results of the swabs, the final program for Friday will be communicated.
