After the draw against Napoli, Inter returns to victory, confirming the +14 in the standings over Milan. Against Empoli the Nerazzurri started strong and found the lead after just 6′, with a left-footed shot from Dimarco. Shortly afterwards Bastoni came close to doubling his lead, but was stopped by the post. In the final round Sanchez, shortly after coming on in place of Lautaro, was dry for the third consecutive match.
