Taremi-Inter, all done: the details
In the last few hours, the Nerazzurri club has accelerated in a practically decisive manner for Porto’s Iranian strikerwhose contract expires at the end of the season: the communication has arrived to the Portuguese.
Inter sent a written communication to Porto clarifying the contours of a negotiation now concluded at least on a verbal level. Taremi, as reported by calciomercato.comaccepted the three-year contract offered by the Nerazzurri club from approximately 3 million euros net per season.
At this point, all that remains to conclude the deal is the ritual medical examinations before signing the contract until 30 June 2027. Taremi, who will turn 32 on July 18th and is currently involved in the Asian Cup with Iran, has scored 6 goals so far this season counting all competitions.
The Iranian striker was one step away from transferring to Milan last summer, having reached an agreement with the Portuguese club on the basis of 18 million euros, bonuses included. However, the deal fell through due to a huge request for commissions from an agent other than the one the Rossoneri were negotiating with and therefore the deal stalled.
Marotta immediately sensed the opportunity, starting a long courtship that led to the white smoke: from next season Taremi will join a department where Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez already stand out.
However, Marotta’s race for zero parameters does not end here: the manager, at the beginning of February, wants to have Piotr Zielinski sign a pre-agreement after reaching a verbal agreement for a three-year contract with an option for a fourth year from 4.5 million euros per season, bonuses included.
Despite a second part of the season still to be experienced, l’Inter is already looking to the future: Taremi and Zielinski the first shots.
Balotelli suggestion?
In the meantime, with the January transfer window now coming to an end, a sensational suggestion has emerged for the second part of the season. In fact, the rumor has spread from Turkey that Mario Balotelli, current striker of Adana Demirspor, he would have offered himself to Inter for 6 months asking for a salary of just five hundred thousand euros.
Marotta’s response was cold and he has no intention of changing the attack also given the permanence of Arnautovic and especially Alexis Sanchez. Balotelli’s dream of returning to Italy seems destined to remain so.
