The traditional complaints about the dullness of women’s tennis compared to the men’s took quite a toll at this year’s French Open. While the culmination of the men’s part this time did not offer any great drama, the finish of the tournament, especially by the Czech Karolína Muchová, aroused enthusiastic applause and recognition from experts and fans all over the world. However, Australian stormtrooper Nick Kyrgios laughed off such conclusions.
