The top match in the ION Hockey League between Leopold and Gantoise on the fourteenth matchday, the first after the winter break, did not have a winner on Sunday. The competition leader and the national champion held each other at 2-2.

Leopold started the match well, but it was Gantoise who opened the scoring first. Antoine Kina (12.) and Etienne Tynevez (48.) gave the reigning national champions a double lead. Leopold avoided defeat towards the end of the game. Star player Tom Boon (52.) made the connection, Max Musch (60.) completed the comeback. Due to the division of points, the position at the top remains unchanged. Leopold remains the leader with 35 points, Gantoise follows with 24.

There was some movement in the position among the two tenors. Herakles took third place over Braxgata after a 1-5 win against Ukkel Sport. Braxgata did not get further than a 2-2 draw against Daring. Orée returned to the top six after a win (4-2) against red lantern Victory. The Woluwe residents are fifth with 23 points.

Furthermore, Daring and the Waterloo Ducks drew (2-2). Dragons defeated White Star 1-4.
