Miami – The corpses of two men have been found in the villa that belonged to Gianni Versace, in Miami, scene of the assassination of the designer il July 15, 1997. Miami Beach Police reported having received a call from the Versace Mansion staff which denounced the discovery of two bodies inside a room.

Investigations are underway to ascertain what happened in the residence, which has become the luxury resort Casa Casuarina, overlooking Miami Beach. It is not clear if the two deaths are connected in some way to the anniversary of the killing of the stylist, of cui tomorrow is the 24th anniversary.

On the morning of July 15, 1997 Versace came murdered with two gunshots on the steps of his home in Miami Beach. The first to help him were his companion, Antonio D’Amico, and his friend Lazaro Quintana. He was transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and shortly thereafter pronounced dead.

Of the murder Andrew Cunanan, a drug addict, was charged, addicted to homosexual prostitution, suspected of having previously murdered other people, and for this reason he has been wanted for some time. Andrew Cunanan could not be questioned, nor was a trial instituted against him, because he was found dead a few days later on a houseboat in a bay. It was hypothesized that Cunanan had been killed and in any case that he had not died where the body was found, which was immediately cremated, making a possible subsequent autopsy impossible.
