In the American NBA, Belgian Toumani Camara’s Portland Trail Blazers won 92-122 on Friday evening against the Memphis Grizzlies. For Camara and his team it is the first victory in no fewer than ten games.
In the FedExForum, Toumani Camara got just under 21 playing minutes. Our compatriot was good for four points, seven rebounds and one assist. Jabari Walker and Dalano Banton each scored nineteen points for the visitors.
It was the sixteenth win of the season for the Trail Blazers. On the other hand, they also have 42 defeats, which means they do not get further than the penultimate place in the Western Conference. Only San Antonio Spurs are worse with 48 defeats. With twenty wins and forty defeats, Memphis is just one place higher than Portland.

Boston keeps winning
Elsewhere, the Boston Celtics, one of the top favorites in the NBA this season, managed to grab their tenth win in a row. In their own TD Garden, the Celtics defeated Dallas Mavericks 138-110, despite a triple-double by Luka Doncic’s visitors. The Slovenian was good for no less than 37 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, but for the home team Jayson Tatum (32 points), Jaylen Brown (25) and Kristaps Porzingis (24) secured the victory.
It was already the 47th win of the season for the Celtics. This puts them in the lead in the Eastern Conference, with eight more wins than number two Cleveland Cavaliers. The Dallas Mavericks are number eight in the Western Conference.
