Aurelio De Laurentiis has chosen the Juventus manager to rebuild the team starting next year. Italian first name for the bench
Napoli’s revolution in view of next season has already begun. After a season not up to the level of the championship won with Luciano Spalletti, Aurelio De Laurentiis is about to change the cards on the table in the club, from sporting director to coach. The Italian president, first of all, found a verbal agreement with Giovanni Manna, Head of First Team and collaborator of Cristiano Giuntoli at Juventus. The coach born in 1977 has been on the Fiorentina bench for two years now, but has long been an obsession of the Napoli president, who had explored him during the time of Gennaro Gattuso. This season Napoli has already changed three coaches (Rudi Garcia, Walter Mazzarri and Francesco Calzona) and is in eighth place with thirty points less than the 2022/23 season, which culminated with the third scudetto in the club’s history.
