In order to ensure the safety and smooth progress of the race, traffic control measures will be taken on some roads in our city during the race.
The Marathon of the Paralympic Games was held in the Xi’an section of Hedi Road (south bank), passing by Xi’an Economic Development Zone, Weiyang District, Baqiao District, and Gaoling District. The route is: the intersection of Hedi Road and Caotan 4th Road, Weihe River Improvement Square (start and end) → enter Hedi Road (eastward-full width road) → turn back (cross of Hedi Road and West Han Highway) → return to the original road to Weihe The square was renovated, a total of 42.195 kilometers.
During the race, except for vehicles and personnel holding special certificates for the Marathon event of the Paralympic Games, other motorized and non-motorized vehicles are prohibited from passing on the track. From 22:00 on October 25 to the end of the event, traffic control will be implemented on Hedi Road (Caotan 7th Road to Caotan 4th Road).
Starting at 22:00 on October 25th, all types of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles are prohibited from parking in the entire section of the track (including motor vehicle lanes, non-motor vehicle lanes, and sidewalks), and various items are prohibited from illegally stacking.
From 7:30 on October 26, traffic control will be implemented throughout the track.
During the event, the traffic management department of the public security organ will take temporary traffic control measures in a timely manner on the surrounding roads of the controlled section according to the needs of the event and the actual traffic flow. All vehicles should pass according to traffic police command or temporary traffic signs. The traffic management department of the public security organs will rely on the “12123” convenience hotline to provide travel route planning services, and publish real-time information on the active road and surrounding road conditions through the “Xi’an Traffic Police Subscription Number” and “Sina Official Weibo@西安交警” for the general public to log in and inquire .
