After 10 days of forced stop added to the Christmas holidays, the Pavia players returned to work yesterday afternoon at the Mascherpa. In the morning the members of the squad and the coaching staff underwent rapid swabs following the conclusion of the fiduciary isolation sanctioned by the Ats regulations (after the case that emerged of a positivity in the team group on 18 December last). In the afternoon they were able to return to the field in view of the preparation of the recovery of Group A of Excellence scheduled for Wednesday 5 January in Varzi.

However, some elements that have tested positive in the last 10 days and are therefore in quarantine are absent. The workouts take place according to the protocols provided with the utmost respect for prevention. At this point, towards the trip to Varzi, the situation will be monitored day by day to understand any further decisions taken by the Lombardy Regional Committee given the spread of infections at regional and national level. For now, the training program at the Pavia home includes sessions today and in the two following days before the break for December 31st and January 1st. An eye on the pitch and one out with the club that yesterday formalized the farewell of Giacomo June. The defender born in 2001 was made available to Mr. Omar Albertini who had trained him first at the Accademia Pavese and then at the Alcione, before the boy had the experience at Nibbianovaltidone in Piacenza Excellence. For June there is little space in this first round. Consensual termination for the defender for whom there is talk of Varzi’s interest after he was compared to a return to the Pavese Academy at the end of last October. Also at the farewell level yesterday Solbiatese made official the engagement of Matteo Amelotti. The midfielder who played the first part of the season at Pavia with whom he terminated on Christmas Eve by marrying immediately to the club that is dominating the Promotion group A. Due to the departure of players who were no longer part of the club’s plans for the second half of the season after the arrival of Rebolini and Scognamiglio to reinforce the blue midfield, no further news was received.
