Quota eighteen hundred Loyalty to the APU through subscriptions

Covered 53 on the possible 60% of presences at Carnera Now all that remains is to hope not to return to the yellow zone

The “fever” of typhus for the Apu Old Wild West is always high. The confirmation comes from the data relating to the season ticket campaign for the 2021/22 championship, which ended with 1,832 subscribed cards. Important numbers, given that subscribers cover 53% of the Carnera sports hall, approaching the maximum limit of 60% currently in force in Italy for indoor facilities in the white zone regions.

The pandemic does not seem to have damaged the link between the team and its loyal public. Already in the autumn of 2020, proof of affection had arrived, with over a thousand subscriptions signed in a few weeks, except for having to reverse for the closure of the plants imposed by the second Covid wave. This year, with an APU built to attempt the onslaught of the promotion touched on last June, over 1,800 supporters responded “present”. Of these, 80% is represented by fans who have renewed the season ticket already subscribed in 2020/21 (choosing, secondly, not to ask for the reimbursement of the fee), while the new subscribers are 20%.

Taking the necessary proportions, given the restrictions in place, it can be said that the 1,832 subscriptions subscribed are a figure in line with the pre-Covid era. In 2018/19 the Apu Gsa of Cavina (later replaced by Martelossi) convinced 2507 spectators to make the card, a record then surpassed in 2019/20 by the Apu Gsa entrusted to Ramagli, which reached 2610. Figures that also take into account the mini-season tickets for the second round. As for tickets, however, at present about 240 tickets are available per game so as not to overrule more than 60%. Unless the pressure on the Cts of Valentina Vezzali, undersecretary for sport, to increase the capacity in the sports halls is not successful.

If on the one hand the Vezzali pushes for further strong openings of the green pass, on the other hand there is a real risk that Friuli Venezia Giulia will return to the yellow zone. If this were to happen, the maximum capacity of the Carnera would automatically drop to 1000 spectators and the Apu company would have to establish the criteria for access to the Rizzi facility. The hope, of course, is that the region will remain tinged with white. –
