Santander avoids salary arbitration

The Baltimore Orioles and outfielder Anthony Santander have reached an agreement, avoiding salary arbitration. Santander agreed to a deal worth $11.7 million, making him the second highest paid player on the team, according to Robert Murray of FanSided. The Venezuelan outfielder is set to play his eighth season with the Orioles and has become a key player on the team’s roster. In the 2023 season, Santander played in 157 games, batting .257 with 28 home runs and 95 RBIs. After seven seasons in MLB, Santander has 555 hits, including 111 home runs, and 333 RBIs. With this new deal, Santander is ready to continue making an impact with the Orioles.
