Inter Milan Dominates Salernitana with 4-0 Victory
The Italian Football League Serie A kicked off its 25th round of competition on February 16th with Inter Milan securing an impressive 4-0 victory over Salernitana at home.
Inter Milan, currently leading in the standings, dominated the game from the start, creating numerous shooting opportunities. In the 17th minute, Thuram received an assist from Augusto and scored a goal, breaking the deadlock. Just two minutes later, Lautaro scored with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area, further expanding Inter Milan’s lead. In the 40th minute, the visiting team’s goalkeeper Ochoa missed the ball, allowing Dumfries to score, bringing the score to 3-0.
Despite their commanding lead, Inter Milan continued to take the initiative in the second half. In the 90th minute, Dumfries assisted Arnautovic to score the final goal, ending the game with a resounding 4-0 victory. Salernitana managed only one shot throughout the entire game.
Following the victory, the “Nerazzurri” solidified their lead in the standings, now leading second-placed Juventus by 10 points.
In another game, Torino also secured a win, defeating Lecce with a 2-0 victory at home.
