Rome, 30 June 2021 – It will be the Nike Flight Serie A the new official ball of the Serie A TIM for the 2021-2022 season.
The aerodynamic technology introduced last season is also the characteristic of Nike Flight, which we will see on the fields in the championship, Italian Cup, Italian Super Cup and Primavera TIM competitions.
In a note, the Lega Serie A explains the choice: “Nike AerowSculpt technology, thanks to the grooves on the surface of the ball, it reduces oscillations and guarantees a more precise trajectory of 30%. The design also features Nike ACC (All Conditions Control) 3D ink. Introduced in 2014, ACC helps ensure optimal grip in dry and wet conditions. “
Nike Equipment Innovation Lab engineers consulted hundreds of professional athletes, following the fundamental indications to arrive at the final result.
The balloon graphics are designed around the sphere and not inserted into the panels. The boxes improve visual perception allowing players to read the rhythm and rotation of the ball, being able to react quickly and finding greater confidence in the movements.
