43’05” will be the new time to beat at Skialp Torgnon. After the good race at the European Championships, on his home snow, Nadir Maguet proved he is there. With a gap of 1’27”, second place went to the transalpine Jocelyn Verdenal. Third place for Sébastien Guichradaz (44’58”). The Chanoine twins follow: Diider 4th and Jacques 5th.
In the women’s race, the Italian Noemi Junod was first at the finish line (54’07”). Second was the young Clizia Vallet (1h00’09”), third was Katrin Bieler (1h00’51”).
The preliminary course was the one promoted in the field in 2023: the first climb included a positive difference in altitude of approximately 600 metres, followed by a descent of 300 metres.
