Rome, 9 September 2021 – Sport and Health, the public spa of Italian sports services, has a new general manager. Diego Nepi Molineris was appointed today to the management of the company by the board of directors of Sport and Health spa. The choice was unanimously approved on the proposal of the chairman and chief executive officer Vito Cozzoli. Within the spa based in the Foro Italico, which has the Ministry of Economy as its sole shareholder, Nepi Molineris already held the role of Head of Marketing and Development.
President Cozzoli commented: “I offer my sincere wishes to Diego Nepi. It is the right choice because it is internal and because it rewards competence and professionalism. I am sure that with the new general manager of Sport and Health it will be able to grow further and be more and more operational at the service of sport ”.
Even the Undersecretary for Sport, Valentina Vezzali, intervened on the appointment of the new general manager: “Since my inauguration I have expressed my intention to relaunch Sport and Health. I strongly wanted and supported this choice which is a turning point that will make the company more efficient”. Vezzali underlined how “Nepi has been playing an apical role in society for years and is among the protagonists of the successes of the International Tennis of Italy, of Piazza di Siena, of the 6 Nations of Rugby just to name a few.
