The Novara police headquarters investigate an episode of vandalism that occurred on the night between Saturday and Sunday: unknown persons entered the football field in via San Bernardino da Siena, managed by the sports club Voluntas, one of the oldest in the city, and traced on the ground a gigantic swastika using the chalk used to mark the lines of the playing rectangle. On the lawn there are also other obscene drawings. The vandals would have entered by climbing over the fence on the side of a neighboring public park. Digos and the Scientific Police carried out an inspection for the findings of the case. The Councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Novara Ivan De Grandis defined what happened “a despicable, cowardly and unacceptable act”.
