“I’m fine, I just had a little fever on Wednesday night and now I have a little cold. Nothing special”.

How did you find out you had Covid?

“On Wednesday afternoon, I felt fatigue and bone pain. I stayed at home and at night I got a fever, I was 38.5 °. I soon have Tachipirina, the next day I was already out of temper and I went to Salus to do a quick swab, which gave a positive result. Covid has taken the mild form of me. Merit of the vaccine ».

Was it harder to have to watch the APU game on TV or spend Christmas in isolation?

“Both things lasted (laughs, ed)! I really wanted to play against Turin, we had a good week of training, just as I wanted to have Christmas with my family in Brindisi. We will recover both things ».

We know that at APU you have the custom of exchanging Christmas gifts. What did you receive?

«In the team there is an initiative called ‘Secret Christmas’. Nobody knows who he will receive the gift from. It is a moment of serenity and unity within the group. I got a pair of running shoes from Trevor Lacey. ‘

The match with Turin said that in this APU everyone is useful, but no one is indispensable. Do you agree?

“Yes, but it would be nice to be full. Team alchemy would gain. In the difficulties, however, the group joined even more ».

About group. It seems to us that everyone in this team is rowing compactly in the same direction. Is the feeling correct?

“Very correct. There are no dualisms or rivalries, we are all focused on one goal. Those who enter replace those who leave well, and young people also grow well ».

Another sensation from the outside: this Apu does not seem to have any weaknesses. Do you agree?

«From the outside it may seem so, we have won many games clearly. We, however, know what is still wrong and what needs to be improved. Sometimes the concentration drops, and as I have said other times, it is an aspect that can be trained during the week ».

“I agree. The controversy with the referee never leads to anything. As a player, I can say that when you are on the pitch, in certain very physical games, your vein closes in front of a foul that has not been whistled.
