International rackets return to Cagliari one year after the Davis Cup Italy-South Korea

CAGLIARI. The Atp250 Sardegna Open tournament kicks off today 4 April in Cagliari, on the fields of Monte Urpinu. A return of great tennis after a year: in March 2020 the Davis Cup Italy-South Korea challenge was played against the Cagliari center, easily won by the Azzurri. So we start with the following meetings: Jacopo Berrettini (brother of Matteo, the blue number 1 who will only play in the doubles) opposite the British Broady, then Janvier (France) -Cressy (USA), Nagal (India) -Pellegrino (Ita) , Kovalik (Slk) -Jaziri (Tun), Rodionov (Aut) -Forti (Ita), Viola (Ita) -Nakashima (Usa), Gobashvili (Rus) -Huesler (Sui), Stebe (Ger) -Ebden (Aus) .

The program includes the round of 32 from tomorrow 5 April, then the round of 16 on the 7th, the quarterfinals on the 9th, the semifinals on the 10th and the final on the 11th at 11 am. Filippo Volandri, the new non-player captain of the team will also be present at the event Davis’ blue.
