In the just-concluded Tokyo Olympics men’s table tennis finals, the Chinese team defeated the German team 3-0 to win the gold medal. This is the 35th gold medal won by the Chinese delegation in the Olympic Games. Since the establishment of the event in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the National Table Tennis Men’s Team has won four consecutive championships.
The three games are divided into:
In the first game, Malone/Xu Xin defeated Boll/Francisco 3-0 with a score of 11-7, 11-3, and 11-9.
In the second game, Fan Zhendong defeated Ocharov with a score of 3-11, 11-6, 9-11, 11-5, and 11-3, a 3-2 reversal.
In the third game, Malone defeated Boll 3-1 with a score of 11-5, 11-9, 11-13, and 11-7.
