The first China Youth Tennis City Challenge (Guangxi) Provincial Tournament kicked off with 178 players in Guan Yang competing in swings

The first China Youth Tennis City Challenge (Guangxi) Provincial Tournament and the 2024 Guangxi Children’s Tennis U Series began on May 2 at the Guanyang County Sports Center Gymnasium. With 178 players from across the region participating, the competition is fierce and the talent is evident on the court.

The tournament features four main events – U14 men’s team, U14 women’s team, U16 men’s singles, and U16 women’s singles. In addition, the Guangxi Children’s Tennis U Series includes U8, U10, and U12 men’s singles and U8, U10, and U12 women’s singles. The players range in age from 6 to 18 years old, showcasing the diversity and depth of talent in youth tennis in the region.

The top three athletes in the U16 male and female singles categories, as well as the top two teams in the U14 male and female teams, will qualify to compete in the first China Youth Tennis City Challenge (Seventh Division) divisional competition. The competition is intense as players battle it out for a chance to showcase their skills on a larger stage.

With standard serves, powerful spikes, coordinated swings, and precise catches, the young players are leaving it all on the court in pursuit of victory.
