The former surveyor of the Municipality of Carrù who loved art and sport

This morning (Wednesday 2 March) Aldo Porqueddu died: he had been a technician for the Municipality of Carrù for twenty years, until his retirement. He had been hospitalized, first in Mondovì and then in Cuneo, for almost two months due to heart problems. He would have turned 75 in April.

Born in Turin, graduated as a surveyor, after being employed in Fiat he returned to Clavesana, his mother’s homeland. He entered the Municipality of Carrù in 1985 and retired in 2005. Passionate about sports, he was also an artist: his were the scenographies used for the essays of the Twirling Carrucese, as well as the writings on the diplomas awarded at the Fat Ox Fair for the awarded garments. The funeral will take place on Friday (March 4), at 3 pm, in the parish church of Carrù.

He leaves his wife Luciana, his daughter Mara with his son-in-law Marco Cravero and three grandchildren: Federico, Mattia and Amalia.
