There is no concern for the health of the players and the staff, since the positive player is asymptomatic and all have already completed the vaccination cycle; but the result of the tampon will be decisive for organizing the training for the next few days. Only a logistical “trouble”, after all. The athletic trainer Marco Da Lozzo immediately rolled up his sleeves, organizing a session via zoom right from the start and individual programs to be carried out in home isolation. But of course the gym is another thing. Today the girls will also be joined by Raphaela Folie (while on the 23rd it will be Omoruyi’s turn), who after the Olympic disappointment took a vacation and decided to give up the European Championships, which will see her companions already engaged on August 20 in the first match against the very affordable Belarus. Today’s tampon will tell if Folie will join Wolosz, De Krujif, Frosini, Caravello and Gennari in the gym, or if he will just have to greet them in chat and start with weights and exercises in his apartment at Imoco Village. The competitive teams are at rest (they will resume at the end of the month), but some B1 talents will be added to the first team for the first part of the preparation. On the other hand, there is excitement for activities related to children, in the belief that the real challenge of the next few years will be to bring the very young back to the gym to practice volleyball. And it is with this in mind that the new S3 courses (the former minivolley, dedicated to children) are being organized, from the offices managed directly by the Volley Pool Piave (Noventa di Piave, San Donà, Musile), to the newly established ones. near Conegliano, with the affiliates of San Vendemiano and Susegana, and in the Belluno area, with New Dolomiti Volley.
