Alexandra Agiurgiuculese’s dream of accessing the Olympic rhythmic gymnastics final scheduled for Saturday fades.

At the end of the all-around that took place on the Italian night and ended in the late morning of Friday 6 August, the star of Asu Udine was ranked in fifteenth place with 91,050 points: only the top ten will be fighting for the medals, among which will be the other Italian Milena Baldassarri.

Alexandra started the competition with an excellent ball exercise (25,600 points) which, however, was followed by two performances marred by some errors both in the circle, her black beast this year (22.050), and in the ribbon (19.250) while at the clubs, the last exercise of the day, Alex did very well (24.150) but unfortunately it was not enough.

In the Olympic competitions, no specialty medals are awarded but only the one for the general competition, so there will be no other opportunities for the Air Force Airman. Coming back from a very difficult season, for Agiurgiuculese being in Tokyo was still a great result.
