The Italian government has approved the challenge of the text approved by the Valle d’Aosta Regional Council
The Council of Ministers resolved to challenge regional law no. 15 of 2021 on the first budget adjustment and on economic support measures related to the Covid-19 emergency.
According to the Council of Ministers, some provisions of the law go beyond the competences of the Valle d’Aosta special statute, violate the articles of the Constitution on landscape protection and legislative power and “are in contrast with the sector code on landscape matters”.
The challenge was decided during the meeting of the CDM yesterday, 5 August.
