SOLKAN (SLOVENIA)
Beginning on 12 August, the training of the young Italians called up for the next European Junior and Under 23 Canoe Kayak Slalom Championship will continue until today, 18 August, which will be held in Solkan in Slovenia.
The official start of the European Championship on Thursday 19 with the qualifications of the male and female K1, on Friday 20 August the qualifications of the male and female C1, the weekend dedicated to the semifinals and finals, on Saturday 21, the K1 will be on stage, on Sunday the 22 semifinals and finals C1.
Also present were four athletes of the Ivrea canoa club. In the male K1 Davide Ghisetti and Matteo Pistoni, in the female K1 Lucia Gabriella Pistoni and Elio Maiutto in the Canadian male. Female kayaking: Tamara Drescher (Sport club Merano), Francesca Malaguti (Aereonatica Militare), Milena Marini (Montereale), Agata Spagnol (Canoe club Sacile).
Men’s Canadian: Martino Barzon (Canoe club Verona), Flavio Micozzi (Navy), Marino Spagnol (Canoe club Sacile). Canadian women: Elena Micozzi (Canoanium Subiaco), Elena Borghi and Marta Bertoncelli (Carabinieri), and Cecilia Panato (Canoe club Pescantina). –
