A large Canavese presence in the Piedmontese cycling team, the Allievi category, which on Sunday 11th will be involved in the Italian Championship of competence on a 76.8 km course in Tuscany and precisely in Chianciano Terme in the province of Siena. Among the 10 selected by the Piedmontese Technical Commissioner Gianpietro Campagnaro there are three boys from Canavese, precisely the Eporediese Simone Bongiorno of the Velo Club Eporediese-Seinox and the Italians Alessandro Peracchione, fresh winner last May of the ‘Best’ Trophy in Calea, and Ludovico Mellano both standard bearer of the Young Bikers Team Balmamion of Rocca Canavese. Simone Bongiorno’s convocation makes the young rider proud, in his first year in the category, and of course also the blue-orange team chaired by Lucia Negro assisted by sporting directors Ivano Dernini, Celeste Povolo and Alberto Crutto. –
