Chinese Athletes Sweep Gold and Silver in Women’s 1000m Short Track Speed Skating at Winter Youth Olympics
On January 21, Chinese athletes Li Jinxu and Yang Jingru made their mark at the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangneung, South Korea by clinching gold and silver in the women’s 1000-meter short track speed skating final.
Li Jinxu clocked in at 1:40.803, securing the top spot on the podium, while her compatriot Yang Jingru came in a close second with a time of 1:40.996.
