The highlight is certainly represented by semifinal of the 100 meters which will see protagonist Marcell Jacobs. As highlighted in the qualifying heats, the Olympic champion is certainly not in the best physical condition, but he wants to join the final. Tonight the three semifinals starting at 3, then the final around 5. Jacobs will be on track in the third of the three semifinals, at 3.14 on Sunday in Italy, in the fourth lane. The best two of each semifinal will pass to the final, plus the authors of the two best times.
Another interesting appointment for the Italian team will be the qualification of high jump con Elena Vallortigara, who arrives in Eugene with hopes of medals thanks to his 198 cm jumped three weeks ago at the meeting in Rieti.
