Payment procedure in the church
Her mother says on the way to church that she still has to look for an ATM at her bank; she needs cash for the collection after the abdication sermon. We can’t find one, but I can give her a 20-franc note, 50 francs is too much for her. The Sigrist distributes a song sheet at the entrance to the church. There is also a QR code printed on it that can be used to make donations using Twint.
After the celebration, while the organ is still playing, there is unrest in the mourning community. Many people fiddle with their wallets, including his brother. “Pay with Twint!” I say. He defends himself. He didn’t want the church community to see his stinginess.
