The 2024 Taipei International Game Show is set to be an exciting event for gamers and industry professionals alike. Taking place at the Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 from January 25 to January 28, the event will feature a lineup of new and highly anticipated games from various developers.

One of the highlights of the show will be the participation of ACQUIR, the Japanese game developer behind the popular “Wanderer” and “Tenchu” series. The company has announced that it will be showcasing its latest work, “Vertina of the Mist Battlefield,” along with five other games at the event. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the famous producer and company president, Takuma Endo, and the director of “Wanderer 2,” Kesuke Miyauchi, who will be holding a developer salon on January 28 to share their creative experiences.

During the event, attendees can visit the Indie House A01-2 booth to try out the products and add the works to their wish list to receive souvenirs such as folders, acrylic key rings, and mobile phone stands. Additionally, those who participate in the main stage event will have a chance to win ROG ALLY gaming consoles.

Some of the exciting games that will be featured at the event include “Vertina of the Mist Battlefield,” a new game that combines Roguelike, deck building, and SRPG, “Scars of Mars,” a real-time formation combat sci-fi RPG, “Super Ancient Weapon Holly,” a highly difficult dark fantasy game, “Rain Soul – AMEDAMA -,” a Japanese style combined with 2D pixels action adventure, and “The Rise of Space Pirates X2,” a “single screen non-scrolling” barrage game.

The event will culminate in a special developer talk salon featuring Takuma Endo and Kesuke Miyauchi. This session will not only introduce new games to players but will also bring exciting developer dialogue salons. More than 20 prizes, including ROG Ally gaming consoles, will be given away on-site at the end of the event.
