Critical Reflex to Showcase Latest Works at 2024 Taipei International Game Show
Cyprus-based game publisher, Critical Reflex, has announced its participation in the 2024 Taipei International Game Show. The event will take place from January 25th to 28th and will feature a number of the company’s popular works, including the highly acclaimed “Freaked Fleapit” and the recently released “Drowned Lake”.
“Freaked Fleapit” is a dungeon exploration game that combines rhythm and roguelike elements. The game also features a love simulation system with multiple endings, adding a unique twist to the gameplay. The developer will be presenting Traditional Chinese and Japanese dubbed versions of the game for the first time at the event, accompanied by cosplayers from Taiwan to bring the game characters to life.
Also set to be showcased at the event is “Drowned Lake”, a horror fishing game set in the Brazilian jungle. Inspired by Brazilian mythology, players will embark on a terrifying journey to find a mysteriously missing documentary filmmaker, delving into elements of horror, investigation, and puzzle-solving.
In addition to these titles, Critical Reflex will present “Altered Alma”, a space opera Metroidvania game, “IRONHIVE”, a deck-building strategy game, “Outcast Tales”, a turn-based tactical roguelite game, “Being & Becoming”, a Metroidvania-like 2D action-adventure game, “Rose and Locket”, an action platform adventure game, and “Deadlock Station”, a strategy game with auto-chess-like gameplay.
The exhibition will take place at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall, Hall 1, with Critical Reflex occupying booth number A01-1 in the Indie House section. The event promises to provide attendees with an exclusive look at the latest and most innovative works from the game publisher.
