Apple ID to be Rebranded as Apple Account, Sources Say
Friends who use Apple products will definitely know what an Apple ID is. Recently, sources familiar with Apple’s work revealed to foreign media that Apple ID will have a rebranding plan and may be renamed Apple Account, and may be changed as soon as this year.
Apple ID is actually an account that allows Apple users to access services such as iCloud and App Store. By creating and logging in to Apple ID, you can use it on all Apple platforms, such as purchasing apps or songs, or using iCloud wirelessly on different devices. Synchronize data, and even use Apple ID as proof of purchase when purchasing brand products on Apple’s official website.
Sources say that Apple is expected to rebrand Apple ID later this year, which may be released together with iOS 18 (codenamed Crystal) and macOS 15 (codenamed Glow). At the same time, system applications will be modified to reflect the changes, and Apple’s official website will be modified accordingly. However, it is still unclear why Apple made this change. Do you think Apple will really do it?
With this potential rebranding in the works, Apple users will have to stay tuned for any official announcements regarding the change from Apple ID to Apple Account. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
