Gonçalo Guedes contributed a goal this Sunday to Villarreal’s robust victory against Granada, 5-1, in the 27th match of the Spanish League, which is led by Real Madrid.
Gonçalo Guedes entered the field after the break, replacing Gerard Moreno, and immediately scored the hosts’ fourth goal, in the 47th minute, extending the lead built in the first half by Norwegian Alexander Sorloth (7′ and 19′) and Frenchman Etienne Capoue (32′).
Villarreal, who saw Sorloth achieve the hat-trick, in the 66th minute, before Canadian Theodor Corbeanu reduced it, in the 90’+1, moved to 12th place in the championship, while Granada remained in 19th. nd and penultimate place, increasingly closer to relegation to the second tier.
