Steam Deck Celebrates Second Anniversary with Baldur’s Gate III Topping Most Played Games List
As the Steam Deck marks its second year in operation, Steam has released a list of the top 100 most played games on the platform for the past year. Leading the pack is Baldur’s Gate III, which had the highest number of daily active players between March 2023 and March 2024. Following closely behind are Vampire Survivors and Dave the Diver in second and third place, respectively.
The remaining games in the top ten include popular titles such as Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring, Palworld, Cyberpunk 2077, Grand Theft Auto 5, Stardew Valley, and Red Dead Redemption 2. Valve, the company behind Steam, expressed their excitement over the diverse mix of new and old, AAA and indie games that made it to the top of the list.
“It’s been about two years since we launched the Steam Deck, and we thought we’d take a look at the most played games on it in year two!” Valve stated in reference to the chart. “From new to old, AAA to indie, here are the 100 most played games between March 2023 and March 2024, sorted by highest daily active players, regardless of verified status.”
