All’MWC 2024 TP-Link presented an integration of the offering of cloud networking and video surveillance business solutions and products dedicated to the smart home. In particular, the company put on display solutions FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) access and fiber optic and Wi-Fi Mesh systems for the home.
Agenet solutions for service providers
The new solutions from the Aginet range dedicated to service providers found space in Barcelona. The 2024 news means guarantee high performance, flexibility and advanced features thanks to support for the TP-Link Agenet Unified Cloud (TAUC) and compatibility with TR-369/TR-069 protocols. This accelerates deployment times, reduces service providers’ OpEx expenses and delivers a better user experience.
The new TP-Link product line-up
FWA Solutions. The company announces the new portfolio of carrier-grade 5G routers for indoor and outdoor scenarios, with Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 standards. All indoor gateways are designed to support EasyMesh technology and VoNR/VoLTE telephony. This allows you to create a high-performance mesh network and, simultaneously, be able to enjoy high quality calls. Outdoor routers are compatible with environmental conditions extreme thanks to the IP66 certified body and guarantee high profile performance, above 7 Gbps in 5G.
Fiber access solutions. A range complete of one-box and two-box solutions for fiber optic access networks, based on XGS-PON and Wi-Fi 7 technologies. These devices propel service providers into the 10G multi-gig era capable of meeting network needs more pushes with reliability and scalability. The DS-P8000-X7 Optical Line Terminal Chassis debuted in Barcelona, equipped with support for up to 7 GPON/XSG-PON service boards for maximum scalability. It also supports multiple services such as broadband, voice and TV in a single fiber connection, ideal for FTTP/FTTH and FTTB deployments.
Very high speed download on multiple devices
Mesh Wi-Fi solution for the whole home. Mesh technology offers continuous coverage and amazing performance in every corner of your home. TP-Link HB810 offers extreme Wi-Fi speeds, up to 19 Gbps across three bands. So to enable at the same time 4K/8K streaming, gaming, AR/VR and very high-speed downloading on multiple devices. The HB810 is also ready for direct fiber access and Ethernet thanks to a combined 10 GbE/SFP+ WAN/LAN port, while the 10 GbE LAN port acts as a backhaul for a robust and stable mesh network with multiple 2.5 GbE ports.
Video surveillance – Omada and VIGI together
Omada and VIGI have joined forces to create an end-to-end video surveillance system enabled for remote management. The system supports both outdoor and indoor application and networking scenarios, and guarantees exceptional online experiences even in high-density scenarios, while preserving the security of the company. VIGI professional cameras are equipped with functionality AI.
These include: video surveillance with face recognition and classification of people and vehicles, as well as sophisticated imaging technologies, such as night vision and 24-hour full-color high-quality recording. There is also a complete management platform. In this way, the solution is a winning choice for a wide range of application scenarios, but also for every type of company.
Enterprise Wi-Fi systems for multi-dwelling units
Another of the great innovations of MWC 2024 is Omada Pro, Omada’s enterprise-grade product line to meet the high capacity, security and management needs of various vertical industries. All this by integrating a complete set of devices, such as controllers, access points, switches and routers into a single cloud management platform. Additionally, TP-Link introduced an integrated Wi-Fi solution for unit multi-housing, capable of satisfying indoor and outdoor connectivity needs with complete coverage, enhanced security and simplified management.

But it doesn’t end here. The brand is also ready to reveal an expansion of its ecosystem for the Tapo smart home. The innovation will include innovative security cameras (indoor and outdoor), video doorbells, smart bulbs and sockets and much more. Thanks to Tapo ColorPro Night Vision technology, the cameras guarantee extraordinary clarity and vivid colors in low light conditions, even without artificial lighting such as spotlights or IR. Added to this is TP-Link’s AI detection and eco-friendly technologies which aim to make life simpler and greener.
