Darkest Dungeon II to Introduce New Game Mode in 2024
Fans of the popular roguelike game Darkest Dungeon II will soon have a new challenge to look forward to. The game is set to introduce a new game mode called Kingdom, which will offer a fresh take on the classic gameplay.
In Kingdom Mode, players will be tasked with defending safe havens in the kingdom while clearing nearby enemy hotspots. This free-to-play campaign will feature new enemy factions, additional quest lines, and plenty of exploration opportunities. The Coven, the Beastmen, and the Crimson Courtiers are just a few of the new enemy types players can expect to encounter.
While combat in Kingdom Mode will remain true to the Darkest Dungeon II experience, players can look forward to a new set of challenges and strategies to master. The release date for Kingdom Mode has not been announced yet, but it is expected to launch sometime in 2024.
