Kojima Studios and global game publisher 505 Games have announced the upcoming Mac release of the award-winning Death Stranding Director’s Cut, Hideo Kojima’s critically acclaimed and genre-defying epic. Death Stranding Director’s Cut is now available for pre-order on the Mac App Store, and the game runs on Apple silicon, taking full advantage of its Metal 3 features, such as MetalFX Upscaling technology, for unparalleled graphical fidelity and stunning performance .

For those who haven’t played Death Stranding Director’s Cut yet, this Ultimate Edition includes a “Factory of Ruin” location, an underground space for a new adventure where protagonist Sam Bridges now has a host of new delivery aids , including cargo catapults and jumping platforms. Melee attacks have been boosted with enhanced moves like flying kicks, while a new magneto stun gun uses electricity to stop enemies. Players can also find the perfect weapon loadout in the new shooting range city, and at the same time, they can race on the new track. Sam can even ride a cargo robot to make traveling across the Badlands easier. The groundbreaking experience from legendary game creator Hideo Kojima also includes Norman Reedus as Sam Bridges, Mads Mikkelsen, Leia Sedudo Actors and voice actors such as Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley and Lindsay Wagner.
