Two years ago, Disney surprised everyone with the launch of the animated mini-series Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. The mini-series consists of six episodes of 15 minutes each and tells stories about Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku. The new mini-series Star Wars: Tales of the Empire on the other hand, is dedicated to the dark side of power. The series is directly related to the acclaimed live-action series “Star Wars: Ashoka” and deals with the careers of Morgan Elsbeth and Grand Admiral Thrawn. In the last trailer, Disney also teased the return of the iconic villain Darth Vader.
Star Wars fans can be excited when the dark Sith Lord celebrates his comeback on home screens. The Fourth of May can therefore be enjoyed to the fullest. Disney+ subscription owners can stream the new series at no additional cost.
