MIX – Milan Internet Exchangethe main Internet exchange point in Italy and provider of interconnection services, has renewed its OIX-1 certification.
OIX is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit and an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Accredited Standards Developer (ASD). It is among the reference players in defining benchmarks for interconnection infrastructures with three ANSI-compliant standards for IXP, data centers and edge data centers. OIX certification is synonymous with engineering excellence and operational transparency.
Through OIX’s IX Community Supported program, new IXs are able to demonstrate their transparency in service provision, thus ensuring reliability for cloud and content networks and optimizing the functionality and stability of the Internet.
