First of all, the most breakthrough is that the fan blades are made of “LCP” material. At the ComputeX computer exhibition a few days ago, I also found that many cooling manufacturers have also begun to develop new technologies related to this! Although we always complain about Lian Li and delay the launch of new products, this time is different! As far as I know, this should be the first LCP fan you can buy on the market, which is one of the reasons why I can’t help it!
For the thickness part, in the general 25mm fan, I believe that the manufacturers have played it to the point that they can no longer play it! Almost all the tricks can be done, and the performance and quiet experience have been developed to the extreme, so they have started to work on the thickness part. This can only be blamed on our wind chaser brother who set a precedent, making the T30 so far. The king of performance, without a doubt!

ā²Accessories for three groups are screw bag, three PWM cables, speed control cable, and bridge extension cable. If it is a single group, there is no speed control cable, bridge extension cable, and only a single PWM cable and screw. ā²In fact, the fan frame is not made of ordinary plastic. It is made of “PA66”, which is slightly softer than the LCP material just mentioned, and a little harder than ordinary plastic. It is in between, and is most often used The place where it is applied is the joint material of 12VHPWR! Because of the upgrade of the material part, the weight is more important than the previous building block fan~
ā²Because the fan blades are made of LCP material, compared with ordinary fans, there will be more lines on the lines! ā²After turning on the light, the light effect is gorgeous and full, and the light can still be faintly revealed in the gap in the middle, and the visual effect is full!
ā² After covering the online version, the light effect is really bright enough! It is recommended to connect up to six light strip trims to a single input terminal. If more connections are made, the power supply may be insufficient, so the light effect will be weakened and even the life of the lamp bead will be affected!
ā²Then let’s start to test the noise and heat dissipation performance!
Simply build a test platform, B550 Mortar + 5900x, an ordinary 3060Ti bright machine card, use AIDA64 single-baked FPU, adjust the power consumption of 5900x to 200w, match the top-mounted water-cooled VK E360, replace the original X12 fan with a P28, The decibel meter is about 20 cm away from the case
The ambient noise is about 36.5 decibels, the ambient temperature is about 26 degrees, and the humidity is about 60%. First burn the machine for 20 minutes and wait for the temperature to stabilize. Then increase the speed by 10% every ten minutes until it reaches 100% full speed. The test records are as follows
ā²At about 50% 1300 RPM, it is already very quiet. If I adjust the speed lower, in fact, the silence of my ring will be overwhelmed, and the difference cannot be measured, so I start from the lowest speed of 40% Test the thermal test!
Let me help you review the L, M, and H gears just mentioned. The maximum speeds are 1300 RPM, 2200 RPM, and 2600 RPM. For this reason, I also specially adjusted the speed to the corresponding parts, which are exactly 50%, 84 %, 100% In fact, at 40% and 50% speed, the noise performance is quite good, almost no noise can be felt, but there is an obvious difference in the temperature part, so if the noise is not particularly sensitive, I would recommend the speed Starting from 1300 RPM at least, can show the cooling level it should have!
From the test results, it is found that the M gear designed by Lian Li – 2200 RPM is a very good sweet spot. Even if the speed is higher, the temperature can be lowered, but the noise experience in exchange will be worse!
Judging from the performance in the 90% – 100% range, the cooling effect brought by high speed is not as good as the noise experience that gradually gets out of control. Otherwise, it can be pulled up to 3000 RPM to join the ranks of violent fans and fight with you! But it is not cost-effective to improve the noise experience by several grades for the temperature difference of one or two degrees. It is a very smart decision to set the maximum speed at 2600 RPM~
On the whole, I feel that the main focus of the P28 fan is not on the performance part, but on making better performance in terms of noise experience!
ā²Then I pulled out the fan separately to do a wind noise test. I have unplugged the two fan speed cables on the cold row, and the water pump is also kept at the lowest speed. The meter is placed about 20 cm away from the air inlet of the fan to measure the data, and the recorded results are shown in the table below
ā²When the machine is turned off, the noise level of the environment is measured as 36.5 decibels. It also starts from 40% as the test starting point and gradually increases by 10% to record the noise data. It also corresponds to the 2200 RPM (85%) of the balance gear (M) to record~
