Epic Games Unveils $7.6 Million Prize Pool for 2024 Fortnite Championship Series

In an exciting announcement, Epic Games has revealed details for the highly anticipated 2024 Fortnite Championship Series. The upcoming season will feature a staggering $7,675,000 prize pool, marking a significant increase from previous years.

The 2024 Fortnite Championship Series will consist of three majors, with the Grand Slam culminating in a head-to-head Global Championship at the end of the year. Epic Games has opted to maintain the two-player format for the upcoming season, with competitors required to reach at least Platinum 1 in Ranked Battle Royale to qualify for the FNCS.

Players will then have the opportunity to compete in open qualifiers to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the three Grand Slams. The results from these qualifiers will determine whether the player earns a coveted spot in the Global Championship, adding an extra layer of competition and excitement to the series.

It’s worth noting that there won’t be a last chance Major this year, amplifying the importance of every point earned throughout the season. With the high stakes and increased competition, players will need to bring their A-game to secure a spot in the Global Championship.

Major 1 is scheduled to take place between January 26 and February 24, with Major 2 following from April 12 to May 12, and Major 3 from June 14 to July 28. The dates for the Global Championship have yet to be confirmed by Epic Games.

The 2024 Fortnite Championship Series promises to be an action-packed season, with a record-breaking prize pool and a competitive format that will surely keep fans on the edge of their seats. Stay tuned for more updates as the series draws closer.
