“Deep Rock Galactic Developer Confirms Talks of TV Adaptation”

In a world where video game adaptations have become increasingly popular, another game has joined the conversation. Developer Ghost Ship Games has confirmed that they have been approached about the possibility of a TV adaptation for their game Deep Rock Galactic.

CEO Søren Lundgaard explained, “We’ve been talking about it and we’ve been in contact. It’s definitely doable but we can’t do everything at once. We also want to be involved. If we can say ‘uh, you do’ and not be involved, then it will happen, but that’s not the right thing to do.”

With successful game-to-TV adaptations like The Last of Us, Halo, and The Witcher currently dominating streaming platforms, it’s no surprise that more games are eyeing the transition to television. Deep Rock Galactic, a cooperative first-person shooter game set in a science fiction universe, is the latest to consider making the jump.

As the trend of video game adaptations continues to grow, it will be interesting to see if Deep Rock Galactic will join the ranks of successful game-to-TV crossovers. Are you excited about the possibility of a Deep Rock Galactic TV adaptation? Let us know in the comments.
