Esports organization Karmine Corp has announced a partnership with voice communications service provider Sonix. As noted in the press release, we’re told the deal will make Sonix an official supplier to Karmine Corp, and will see the two work together to help improve the Sonix app.
The partnership will also see Karmine Corp’s players equipped with Sonix’s SuperSonix technology, which is currently in beta testing. The idea here is that players will get lower latency, higher quality voice communications in exchange for feedback on the platform.
“We tested the sonixapp application and compared it to other solutions,” said Arthur Perticoz, CEO of Karmine Corp. “SUPERSONIX’s low latency is evident, and this speed will allow our players to gain reactivity, coordination, and thus efficiency. We can’t wait to use it on a larger scale!
There was no mention of any finances or length related to the deal.
